Lauren Allshouse

Lauren Allshouse is an artist and librarian living and working in New York City.

She received her B.A in Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota and MLIS from Pratt Institute, she also studied at the Corcoran College of Art + Design.

Her work is informed by her interest in art history, archives, and the pictorial record. Her paintings seek to investigate, commemorate, and preserve in paint discarded ephemera and photographs.
